Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the Stacked app. By downloading or using Stacked, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. About Stacked

Stacked is a gamified financial wellness application that provides personalised financial plans, habit-building content, curated educational resources and a progression system to help users improve their financial wellbeing. Stacked is available on iOS via the Apple App Store.

Stacked is an educational and motivational tool. It does not provide regulated financial advice. Nothing in the app constitutes financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

2. Subscriptions & Billing

Access to Stacked requires a paid subscription. We offer the following plans:

Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

How to cancel: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Stacked → Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have access until then.

Refunds: All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple directly at reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not process refunds directly.

Price changes: We may change subscription prices at any time. We will notify you of price changes via the app or email before they take effect. Continued use of the app after a price change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new price.

3. Account Registration

To use Stacked you must create an account using a valid email address, which we verify via a one-time passcode. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Stacked. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

All content within Stacked — including the app design, text, graphics, plan content, illustrations, the Stacked Score system, and all associated intellectual property — is owned by or licensed to Stacked and is protected by copyright, trademark and other applicable laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the app for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property to you.

Content linked to from within the app (e.g. YouTube videos, third-party articles) is owned by its respective creators and subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party content.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Stacked is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of viruses or other harmful components.

The financial plans, content and educational materials in Stacked are for informational and motivational purposes only. We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness or suitability of any content for your individual financial situation.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stacked and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including but not limited to financial losses, arising from your use of or inability to use the app, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for your subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately. Cancellation of your subscription does not delete your account unless you request account deletion separately.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, via in-app notification or email. Your continued use of Stacked after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the app shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.

11. Apple-Specific Terms

These Terms are between you and Stacked only, not with Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Apple's App Store terms, Apple's terms will prevail to the extent of the conflict. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) to you.

Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and has the right to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary upon your acceptance.
